  • At Bright Wellness, we accept both Core Supports and Capacity Building Supports funding. This means you can use your NDIS plan to access our disability fitness services under either category, depending on your goals and the structure of your plan.

  • No — we are not currently a registered NDIS provider. However, we intend to proceed with the registration process in the near future.

    In the meantime, we operate in alignment with NDIS practices and maintain high-quality compliance to ensure our services meet the standards expected by participants and their support networks.

  • We primarily service areas within 30 minutes of our home gym in Matraville, but we understand that every participant’s needs are different. Our team does its best to be flexible and, where possible, we can extend beyond this area depending on availability. If you’re outside our usual catchment, feel free to get in touch — we’ll let you know how we can support you.

  • We require at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session.

    If less than 24 hours’ notice is provided, or if the participant does not attend the scheduled session, a short notice cancellation fee of 100% of the agreed face to face support time will be charged. This is in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.

  • In general, your NDIS plan does not cover gym memberships and nor does Bright Wellness cover for the cost of them.

  • Yes — we’re more than happy to support you in your own gym. However, the gym must be willing to accommodate this, which often means having a direct conversation with the gym manager before starting.

    Please note:

    • Trainers are not expected to pay for their own entry or membership.

    • If you have a Companion Card, most gyms will allow your trainer to enter with you at no cost.

    We’ll work with you to make the process as smooth as possible so you can train in the environment that feels best for you.

  • Most sessions involve up to 60 minutes of exercise.

    In some cases, the session length may be extended to accommodate additional logistics, such as transporting the participant.

  • Yes — we offer transport to help you stay consistent and to remove barriers to exercising.

    Transport is reviewed on a case-by-case basis to ensure it is safe and practical for each session.

  • The Bright Wellness team have the relevant industry standard qualification for the service they provide. In addition to this they all complete NDIS worker screening, NDIS worker orientation modules. Item description

  • The cost of our services can vary depending on factors such as the type of session, support duration. location and travel requirements.

    We always follow the NDIS Price Guide and pricing policies, ensuring our fees are within the NDIS price limits and fully compliant.

  • Yes — we support participants with goals beyond health and fitness, including building independence, gaining confidence in the community, and developing skills for domestic living.

    Through our mentor-focused approach, we work closely with clients to help them live healthy, happy, and fulfilling lives, supporting their broader NDIS goals every step of the way.
