Hi, I’m Mei.

Outside of my work at Bright Wellness, I am studying to become a dietician.

For those of you that are unaware, a dietitian is a health professional who not only helps people set and achieve diet-related goals, but also builds a healthy relationship with food.

My passion is educating people about nutrition and building sustainable habits around eating. 

Eating well looks different for everyone - and that's okay! A great place to start is understanding the five food groups and how each one helps your body feel and move its best.

The Five Food Groups

The five food groups form the foundation of a balanced, healthy diet.

How I use the Food Group…

Find 3-5 foods you love from each group, make them a shopping basket ‘go-to’, and aim to mix at least 3 food groups into every meal.

Whether it's on your plate, in your lunchbox, or takeaway - mix and match. Be creative and have fun with it!
