My name is Ben Brightwell and I am the owner and head trainer at Bright Wellness: Disability Fitness Service.

Meet Ben

When it comes to exercise, Bright Wellness believes that

‘Movement Matters Most’

We support and celebrate any effort to exercise. Our primary goal is to get our clients moving more.

  • A boy in a white t-shirt and blue shorts jumping over a black exercise ball while holding a green tennis ball behind his back during outdoor training, with a coach or instructor in a white shirt and black shorts observing.

    What we do

Bright Wellness: Disability Fitness Service specialises in the delivery of personal training programs that are planned and structured according to the unique needs of each individual.

  • Two young men exercising outdoors in a park. One kneels on a purple yoga mat, smiling at the other who is on his knees with arms raised and head tilted back. The second man is holding battle ropes. Trees and other people in the background.

    Why we do it

We want exercise to be an enjoyable part of everyday life. We believe that with person-centred support and exercise programming, we can help our clients achieve their goals while having fun.

  • Four young men playing basketball outdoors in a park, with one holding a basketball and two others watching, surrounded by trees and a brick building.

    How we do it

We design programs that place priority on the movement that matters most to each individual. Soccer, yoga, weight lifting, boxing, hiking…you name it! We love all forms of movement and we’ll modify our programs with your interests in mind.

Our Approach

Bright Wellness designs all exercise programs with two outcomes in mind…FUNCTIONAL & FUN

We do this by coaching our clients to perform movement patterns that are fundamental to everyday life – these are known as functional movements.

By practicing functional movements in our programs, we are able to help our clients lose weight, build strength and gain mobility with their bodies.

To ensure our sessions are fun, we take these functional movements and creatively build them into different games and activities that best appeal to our client’s nature.
